Our commitment to safe and responsible wagering.
ClubBet believes that wagering should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — not a source of financial stress, personal harm, or addiction. We are committed to fostering a safe wagering environment and complying with all responsible gambling obligations under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) and the Racing NSW Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.
We take our duty of care seriously. Our platform is designed with built-in safeguards, and our responsible gambling tools are available to all members at no cost, at any time, without judgment.
Deposit Limits: Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on the total amount you can deposit. Limits can be set or decreased immediately in Account Settings → Responsible Gambling. Increases are subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period to protect against impulsive decisions made in the heat of the moment.
Loss Limits: Set a maximum amount you are comfortable losing over a defined period. Once your loss limit is reached, your betting account will be automatically suspended for the remainder of that period, regardless of any funds remaining in your balance.
Session Time Reminders: Enable timed notifications that alert you after a set period of continuous wagering activity. Options range from 30 minutes to 4 hours. A pop-up will display your session duration, total wagered, and net result to help you make an informed decision about whether to continue.
Reality Checks: Periodic on-screen messages displaying your wagering activity during the current session, helping you stay aware of time and spend.
Account Cooling-Off: Take a break from your ClubBet account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days without formally self-excluding. During a cooling-off period, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. Cooling-off periods cannot be shortened once activated.
Self-Exclusion: Voluntarily exclude yourself from ClubBet for periods of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently. Self-exclusions take effect immediately upon request and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. Attempts to circumvent a self-exclusion by opening a new account are a serious breach of our Terms and will result in immediate account closure and forfeiture of funds.
Account Closure: You may close your ClubBet account permanently at any time. Any remaining balance will be refunded to your nominated payment method, subject to identity verification.
Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, income, or background. It may be time to seek help if you notice any of the following warning signs in yourself or someone you know:
Spending more money on gambling than you can afford to lose; borrowing money from friends, family, or financial institutions to fund gambling; chasing losses by placing more bets to recover money already lost; neglecting work, family, social obligations, or personal health due to gambling; lying to others about how much you gamble or how much you have lost; feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when you are not gambling or when you try to cut back; using gambling as a way to escape stress, boredom, depression, or other negative emotions; failed attempts to control, reduce, or stop gambling; gambling until all your money is gone; or selling personal possessions to fund gambling.
If you recognise any of these signs, we strongly encourage you to use our responsible gambling tools and to reach out to one of the support services listed below.
